This little guy with the bright blue tail was the first hummingbird I photographed in this house, in a neighbor’s Mimosa Tree, back in 2015! He now hangs out a lot in my Porter Weeds and is similar to the Rufous Tails that are dominant in my garden, but is more colorful. Got a good rain yesterday afternoon!
The weather forecasters have been warning us of severe thunder storms for 2 days or more which sort of came yesterday afternoon, with thunder, but not severe! Weather forecasters seem to exaggerate everywhere! 🙂 But I was glad to have the rain which eliminates one watering job for me! 🙂 Being in April, it is most likely one of those pre-rainy season early rains and not an early start of the season (our winter). But it was good and maybe will help slow down the winds. 🙂
