United States

Monument Valley, Utah.

This page could ultimately have the most travel stories and photos if Costa Rica doesn’t eventually outnumber them!   🙂   Since stories take so much more time and mental energy, I am doing photos first, adding here the U.S Travel Galleries that appear in my big gallery under “Pre-Costa Rica TRAVEL.”

And if I have a travel photo book in my bookstore, I will also link to it. Unfortunately my early retirement travel books were done by and online company that went out of business, so I can’t link to them, but since then I’ve used Blurb.com and all my travel books are in my online bookstore.

The featured image at very top is one of my skyline shots of Chicago from the 2010 trip while the cowboy just above is in Monument Valley, Utah near the Arizona border. The photo galleries listed below are all in the above linked travel gallery chronologically with most recent on top. Below they are listed by states then chronologically.

How I Traveled My Last 11 Years in the States:

This is how I mostly traveled my last 6 years in the states, 2008-2014, especially in TN with my 2008 Toyota Yaris with Bicycle, especially within TN. Here it is behind my row house in downtown Nashville ready to go!   🙂
From 2003 to 2008 I traveled everywhere in my 2003 Toyota Tacoma pickup, here in ’03 in Hannibal, MO. Later I got a topper for Camping and for Arts & Crafts Fairs when I even pulled a trailer with all the photos, tent, etc.
