This Leuce Yellow, Mariposa Amarilla Brasileña, Pyrisitia leuce (my gallery link) was a new species for me last year (2024) and now I am starting the 2025 butterfly season with that species! 🙂

May Day & Labor Day in Costa Rica!
Thus today (May 1) is a public holiday in Costa Rica. 🙂 Meaning that schools, banks and government offices are all closed plus some businesses.
And Rainy Season has started!
(I think!) We had good rains for each of the last two nights and it is now May, so looking good! Plus the weather forecast shows a short rain every day for the next week! 🙂 If you don’t already know, I prefer the rainy season (May-October). It’s the hyperactive tourists who prefer dry season, cramming a million activities into each day! And I used to be like that! But no more! 🙂
