or at least I am pretty sure that is the identification, Banded Yellow, Eurema elathea (my gallery link) and it is common to have all of these different colors (white, tan, yellow, orangey), but without a view of the top of wings (to see yellow & brown bands) it is difficult for an exact ID as there are others similar to this in the Pieridae family of butterflies. 🙂 Here’s four shots from Calle Nueva, all 4 different colors (but I think the same species) . . .

Reminiscing Those Tennessee Days!
Looking for something on Google Search yesterday and bumped into the last photo book I did before moving to Costa Rica in 2014. It was a book of nature photos from every one of the 54 Tennessee State Parks!

A Walk in the Woods is a pretty good book, if I do say so myself! 🙂 For a FREE PREVIEW of all pages, CLICK that linked title or the cover image above. There’s a lot of natural beauty in Tennessee, but I still like Costa Rica better! 🙂 And yes, I was going to do the same thing with all of the Costa Rica National Parks, but not sure I will be able to make it now. But I have visited most of the parks and shared photos from them! 🙂 Keep reading the blog for more Costa Rica nature photos!
