Departing the Rainforest

First — awakening to the singing birds and howler monkeys as I looked up at my cabin’s vaulted wood ceiling . . .

. . . then a final beachside walk before a hearty breakfast and . . .

. . . a 25 minute boat ride back to the little pueblo of Golfito . . .

. . . and then flying away from the abundant rain and rivers . . .

. . . Goodbye Rainforest! 🙂

And though I will blog about it for another week or so, this little adventure came to an end today and I’m now back home in Atenas where I continue to marvel at birds, flowers, butterflies and all of nature; plus the charm of this small coffee-farming town! It’s my wonderful life! RETIRED IN COSTA RICA! 🙂
