Merry Christmas!

Hoping you will have a happy December as I expect mine to be. I will be slowing down with only 3 doctor appointments! 🙂 My health is doing well with mostly the wonderful public health system here in Costa Rica, an ultra sound scan every 6 months showing me cancer free, a monthly nurse visit to my house, checking on me and data on my CPAP machine, and just a month ago I got new hearing aids compliments of the Cost Rica Social Security! Life is good in Costa Rica! 🙂

I will celebrate Christmas in nature again this year, as usual, this time in a protected nature reserve forest on a Pacific beach at Punta Leona, where I have been only one other time, in 2019 (that trip gallery link). I’ve already shared (on Thanksgiving day) the 2025 version of my Christmas Bird Tree and I may try to photograph and share some of the many Christmas trees and other decorations I see here and maybe not. 🙂 Ticos love Christmas! And many have the entire week off from work between Christmas and New Years. In fact, I expect more Ticos than foreign tourists at Hotel Punta Leona when I’m there Christmas! 🙂

Since I consider my annual Photo Christmas Card my effort at being creative or “Nature as Art,” I have a photo gallery of all my annual Christmas Cards from Costa Rica since 2014. 🙂

Christmas is a fun time to be creative and it is easier now that I no longer try to sell at the arts and crafts shows, etc. Just gifts and the fun of being creative with my nature photography! 🙂
