Lesson’s Motmot

I’m glad this favored bird visits my garden often enough for me to see at least once a month now! See more photos from multiple locations in my gallery: Lesson’s Motmot, Momotus lessonii. Purely a Central American bird, found only from Panama to Southern Mexico.

  1. You should come visit our fruit feeder in early AM or dusk. We have them almost everyday! Often a pair. They love banana.
Also we are getting blue grey tanager, thrush by the multiples and kiskadees. We are are however lacking in flowers to attract butterflies. That will be a soon to do project.
