Completed Agatha’s Books

Yesterday I completed the last of Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple series of mysteries and had earlier completed all of her Hercule Poirot mysteries. Plus, on my one trip to London I saw her only play, The Mousetrap, the longest running play anywhere in the world! It was great! Just like her books! 🙂

And really, I’ve about had enough of Agatha for awhile now! 🙂 But I did enjoy every single book! She is an excellent writer of another era now. Her picturesque descriptions of English life and people help me better understand my genealogical roots in England, without all the murders of course! 🙂

I’ve hit and missed at several non-fiction books and my latest attempt at a science book somewhat bored me and I quit it, The Fingerprints of the Gods by Graham Hancock. It’s an interesting history of science, just not what I need now.

So currently I’m already beginning the 4th story in The Complete Fairy Tales and Stories of Hans Christian Andersen – and liking it! Even if a little “ancient.” 🙂

There are so many good books to read! And that makes me thankful I don’t have a television subscription! 🙂 I do stream some nature documentaries on my computer from CuriosityStream, but that is it. And I keep up with world events by reading The Washington Post online.

When I’m not out in Costa Rica’s nature or doing necessary chores, I’m reading! 🙂

¡Pura Vida!

I have read all of Agatha’s books but that was so many, many years ago! In today’s world I am more about reading fluff!
