About the May Blog Photos

They were all made in my garden or on the nearby Calle Nueva “country road” during the first half of the month, May 1-16, and I have been doing posts about a week and a half ahead most of the time. I got photos of 31 species of butterflies during those two weeks and a couple were new species for me.

Tomorrow is June and I will continue to share photos from May while trying to stay closer to the current time. Except for a day-trip with Canadian visitors in January, all photos this year have been from my garden or neighborhood. My first trip of the year will be the first week of July to Esquinas Rainforest Lodge near Golfito in a Pacific coastal rainforest which will hopefully provide a little more variety of wildlife and plants! 🙂
