Costa Rica COVID19 Slowing?

We began this week yesterday with positive information on the spread of COVID19 in Costa Rica showing no significant increase with a total of about 600! Read multiple articles at  https://ticotimes.net/  or for the specific articles I think interesting, click the titles below. I think it particularly interesting how the traffic is kept down by limiting CR AIR STRIP 2ad11d24-cd45-47e7-9a56-cd76cfaf76b4which days you can drive your car based on the last digit of your license tag. And police are giving tickets for those who “cheat” on what really means a restriction from driving on just two days a week! Not bad! But us walkers can walk on any day!   🙂

  1. Wish the news were as positive here in New Hampshire as it seems in Costa Rica. Cases are now being reported in our and neighboring towns. Quite a few are still not taking it seriously . The public stupid index is medium high now. No masks, shopping every day etc. Perhaps this will fade away soon but my optimism is slowly fading. Might make a grocery run today ( with masks) so we will not NEED to go out again for several weeks if there is no improvement. Ok laugh at me. Tp is on the list if we can find it. Stay well, enjoy the warm sunshine. Have the rains begun?

    1. Steve, we’ve only had 2 or 3 “teaser” rain showers I call them which is typical for April, with no really good or hard rain yet. That will start in May some time.

Sorry your whole country did not shutdown like here, but your king knows what is best for you and he will decide when to open up the communities that did shut down. Making money is what’s most important for America! So make a lot before you move here! 🙂
