For what it is worth, I photographed the same number of species here in 2019 (though some were different species), plus I also took the Rio Sierpe Mangrove Tour for an additional 18 species. See those photos in the Trip Gallery: 2019-September 13-21–Cristal Ballena, Uvita. This was a slower, more relaxed trip with the only tour being for whales and dolphins this year. Otherwise I stayed at the hotel the whole 6 days. For more info see also the hotel website.
