Loving All Trees!

Tree in parking lot of Super La Coope, Atenas, Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Yes! I even love this tree in my supermarket parking lot which adds beauty and oxygen to my simple life here in Atenas! 🙂

“Trees exhale for us so that we can inhale them to stay alive. Can we ever forget that? Let us love trees with every breath we take until we perish.”

  1. Charlie, I enjoy so much your deep appreciation for all nature, large and small, exotic and right around the corner. You have a gift for finding beauty everywhere.

    1. ¡Gracias Shannon! And you are special the way you appreciate it. And I loved your story about the “Rainbow Trees” at Arenal on the Arenal Observatory website – blog! I was there Christmas and for my birthday in July I’m trying a new place, Bosque del Cabo at the southern tip of the Osa Peninsula. ¡Pura Vida! 🙂

  2. I remember walking under the trees at Coope one day and noticing people pointing upward, then screeches that we unfamiliar to me—- howler monkeys ! A pleasant memory you reawakened. — thankyou for reminding me of the beauty that just is everywhere there. — p.s. it’s snowing here ! Steve

    1. Steve, I’m aware of those howler monkeys along that stream lined in trees. If you followed that stream by the La Coope parking lot, going to the left, in less than half a mile you would see Hacienda La Jacaranda Apartamentos where I lived for my first 4 months here. I photographed the howler monkeys in the trees there in 2015. See the father howler:
