The White-ringed Flycatcher is a Great Kiskadee (notice rufous wings, longer bill ) the Social Flycatcher is a Common Tody-Flycatcher and the Gray-capped is a Social Flycatcher (gray capped has much smaller white eyebrow and pale eyes)
Stephen, Thanks again! I made all three changes here and for some reason they were already changed in my gallery except for the Social which I’ve always had trouble separating from other flycatchers.
I really appreciate you helping me make all these old Nicaragua posts up-to-date or with correct IDs which is important to me! Thanks for taking the time to do this. I assume that you live in Nicaragua like I live in Costa Rica. I’m retired here from Tennessee and recently celebrated my 80th birthday in a tree house at Maquenque Lodge, Boca Tapada right on the Nicaragua border! It was my 2nd trip there and I photographed 60 species of birds in 5 days there. Its my highest count lodge in Costa Rica. Happy birding to you and some day I hope to return to Nicaragua.
